About Pivotal Business Networking
We meet in a structured manner every week. The main emphasis is on the development of lasting business relationships. We find that when we get to know and trust the businesses around the table, we start to pass business to each other.
Each week, every member is able to give a short presentation on their business, and more importantly what types of clients they are looking for. Over time, the members and guests can build up a picture of their business and services. We do not keep to rigid time limits as we want you to be able to express your enthusiasm for your services. Also, we encourage questions, as this allows us to get a better insight into your professionalism.
When you visit us, you will find that we are a friendly and supportive group, which seeks to encourage the growth of all the businesses around the table.
Actually, we find that the most business is done outside of the 'formal' business meeting. This can be in the coffee before and after the meeting, or in one-to-one meetings between members, or on one of our many social events, where we really get to let our hair down, and get to know one another. After all, once we become friends, the relationships become stronger.
Meeting structure
Although much of the networking is done as a result of lasting relationships, we realise that the meeting needs some structure.
Here is a loose agenda, which the Chair will follow:

• Guests’ presentations
• Spotlight - This is an extended presentation by one of the members
• Contact slips/referrals
• 9.00 Meeting closes

The meeting format is fluid enough to cope with any eventuality so that we don't get too bound up in procedure. After all, we are there to have fun and get to know each other.
Commitment
We ask that members commit to attending the group every week.
